Meet the Founder
Hello, I’m Ayana Young, Founder of Space Coast Support Services.
Caring for others has always been more than a professional responsibility to me. My work has shown me how much dignity, patience, careful observation, and dependable support matter in the everyday lives of seniors and adults with disabilities.
Throughout my career, I served vulnerable adults while investigating reports involving abuse, neglect, self-neglect, and exploitation. Those experiences gave me a deeper understanding of the challenges individuals and families may face when someone wants to remain independent but could benefit from a little additional support.
I created Space Coast Support Services to help bridge the gap between complete independence and traditional home care. Many people do not need several hours of assistance. They may simply need a dependable person to check in, offer companionship, provide reminders, or help with approved everyday non-medical tasks.
My professional experience taught me to pay attention, communicate clearly, respect individual choice, maintain appropriate boundaries, and take concerns seriously. Those principles guide the way Space Coast Support Services approaches every client relationship.
“My mission is to provide dependable, compassionate support that helps people maintain dignity, confidence, and as much independence as possible.”
Every interaction begins with kindness, patience, and genuine respect for the person receiving support.
Honest communication, dependable service, accountability, and clear professional boundaries guide our work.
Support is provided in a way that honors each person’s choices, abilities, routines, preferences, and dignity.
How It Works
Getting started should feel clear and comfortable. We take time to understand what kind of support is needed, confirm that the request fits our non-medical scope, and create a schedule that works for the client.
Choose a convenient time to speak with us about the individual, family, and type of support being considered.
We review the requested tasks, preferred schedule, service location, communication preferences, and any important household information.
Once the service agreement and schedule are confirmed, visits begin according to the approved plan and the client’s preferences.
Our goal is to make the process straightforward while protecting client choice, privacy, dignity, and independence. Services are personalized within the company’s approved non-medical and non-hands-on boundaries.
Our Service Promise
As a new business, we are earning trust one interaction at a time. Our promise is grounded in clear standards, honest communication, respect for client choice, and dependable non-medical support.
We will approach every visit with compassion, professionalism, patience, and respect. We will clearly explain what we can provide, follow the agreed service plan, and protect the client’s right to make choices about their own life and routines.
We will never misrepresent our services or perform tasks outside our approved non-medical and non-hands-on scope.
Every client is treated as an individual whose preferences, beliefs, routines, abilities, and choices deserve respect.
We strive to communicate clearly, arrive as scheduled, explain delays promptly, and respond respectfully to questions or concerns.
Clients remain active participants in decisions about their schedule, approved tasks, communication preferences, and services.
We provide non-medical, non-clinical, and non-hands-on support and will honestly refer clients elsewhere when a need falls outside our scope.
Each visit follows an agreed plan based on the client’s approved needs, preferences, schedule, and one-hour minimum.
Personal information, home access details, and visit information are handled carefully and shared only with authorized individuals or when legally required.
